Did you know?

I actually have seen this video some time ago, shown by my Spanish teacher.

At first, I thought it was something about China and its growth, because that's the first thing they talked about.
However, as the video went on, I was shocked at all the facts that were stated.
Especially the facts about the growth of IT (Information Technology).
There was one information that left a strong impact on me, which was "by 2013, a supercomputer will be built that exceeds the computational capabilites of the human brain" and "predictions are that by 2049, a $1000 computer will exceed the computational capabilites of the entire human species".

After the video, it made me question, are they stating the truth?
Also, it left me to think because it gave me a question at the end, "so what does it all mean?"
I guess it wanted us to know that there are a lot of things we overlook.
In other words, there are things that we don't know about that are extraordinary.
And it's not about difficult information such as science, math, or other things that we would actually have to be taught, but things that are all around us.
The computer, the network, populations, etc., and how they are affecting us, ordinary people.
